Bond Street is an upmarket West End shopping street and is of course famous for being on the Monopoly Board game. Bond Street is located just south of Oxford Street and to the west of Oxford Circus. This area accommodates some of the most elegant and discerning retailers in London with clothing designers such as Gucci and Armani and the auction houses of Sothebys and Bonhams. Many are holders of the Royal Warrant.
At the northern end of Bond Street across the road on Oxford Street is Selfridges Department Store. Running off Bond Street are Conduit Street and Savile Row both of which are also well known for shopping.
The underground station at Bond Street is located at the northern end ( Oxford Street )and is accessed via a shopping arcade on Oxford Street. It is on the Jubilee Underground Line, between Baker Street and Green Park and the Central Line between Marble Arch and Oxford Circus and is in Travelcard Zone 1.
The nearest underground stations to the Bond Street one are Oxford Circus to the east and Marble Arch to the west. Green Park is about 1000 metres to the south.
Parking in this area is in general restricted to official car parks, mainly NCP. The nearest ones are Welbeck Street to the north and Grosvenor Hill to the south east. There is also secure car parking in a multi storey building at the rear of Selfridges which has direct access to the hotel and store.
