Within five to ten minutes train ride from the Britannia International, is the Millennium Dome (now called the O2 Dome), Billingsgate Market, Excel Exhibition Center, London Arena, Limehouse and Greenwich. Beckton, Lewisham, Stratford, Bank, Liverpool Street and Canning town are also easily reached. The Docklands light railway also extends to London City Airport. This enables travellers from cities including Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Belfast, Paris, Edinburgh, Tokyo, Dublin, Berlin, Athens and Jersey a more central airport to the city of London.
Central London, the West End and Theatreland are not as far away as you think. The Docklands Light Railway will take you direct to Bank station, on the Central, Circle and District lines, in little over 10 minutes. The West End is then just a further 5 minutes or so by tube.
A perfect location for the Excel Exhibition center located at the Custom House station on the Docklands Light Railway, less than 10 minutes away. This new and ultra modern exhibition hall is host to the World Travel Market, London Motor Show, The Home Show, The London International Dive Show, The London Golf Show, The Health and Beauty Show and also the London MCM Expo, to name just a few!
To travel by car to the Britannia International Hotel is very easy, with the hotel being outside of the congestion zone and offering its own secure underground car parking. The new road network links Docklands to the North Circular, the M11 and M25 Motorways as well as providing a "bypass" straight to Tower Hill. In in the unlikely event that the hotel car park is full, Canary wharf offers over 2600 car parking spaces!

Travel From London Heathrow Airport
To travel by train, it is recommended to take the Heathrow Express Train to Paddington Station. From here take a taxi or tube to the International Hotel via Bank Station. Changing at Bank to the Docklands Light Railway. Taking a taxi from the airport can be costly.
Travel From London City Airport
Take the Docklands Light Railway from the airport to Poplar. If required then change platforms to take the train towards Lewisham. Disembark at Heron Quays station and you will see the Britannia International across the dock from you.
Travel From London Stansted Airport
Take the Stansted Express Train to Liverpool Street Station. Change to the Circle line for one stop southbound to Tower Hill. Next take the Docklands Light Railway to Heron Quays, the train will be labelled Lewisham.
Docklands Light Railway
The Docklands Light Railway runs from 0530 to 0030, Monday to Saturday, with Sundays running from 0700 to 2330. The line runs from Bank and Tower Gateway to the west of Canary Wharf, Stratford to the north, Beckton to the east and Lewisham to the south.
