QUESTION: What is cheap in London?

 If you want a cheap London hotel and to be surrounded with like minded party people then The Generator is the answer. Located in the West End, off Russell Square, this hostel is a party place. Dorms and bedrooms from 10 GBP. Free breakfast, bar open till 2am, DJ on saturdays, internet access - you will not want to leave !

COUNTY HOTEL, Bloomsbury, London 
 Situated just north of the West End near Euston Station, the County Hotel has 175 bedrooms all centrally heated and with washbasins, radio, T.V, Telephone & Tea & Coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are shared one to 4 bedrooms. Oxford Street is a little over 10 minutes walk away. More sedate than the Generator above.
Comment about the County:
Facilities are basic and a little outdated but the location is good and the prices are excellent.

REGENT PALACE HOTEL, Piccadilly, London
 Walk outside the Regent Palace and you are looking at the stature of Eros in Piccadilly Circus, thats how central this cheap London hotel is. There are 920 rooms over nine floors. All rooms have radio, colour television, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, and wash hand basin but note that there are 2 categories of room depending on whether you require an ensuite bathroom or not.

WHITELEAF HOTEL, Bayswater, London
 The Whiteleaf Hotel is located close to Hyde Park and Notting Hill. This hotel is budget class hotel for the price conscious traveller but has the advantage of a superb location where you can walk to many tourist locations including Oxford Street, Kensington and the Royal Albert Hall. Portobello Market is close by as is the Heathrow Express Terminal at Paddington Station which takes you direct to the airport terminals in 15 minutes. All bedrooms at the Whiteleaf hotel have a private bathroom and continental breakfast is included in the rate.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel deal in London then the Whiteleaf may suit you. Client comments are varied perhaps because this hotel's facilities are oversold in terms of quality. If you want cheap accommodation and dont mind dated facilities then its a good choice because of its great central location.

 The Wedgewood Hotel is situated in Bayswater London and is a budget hotel offering basic accommodation. Clase by are the Heathrow Express terminal and Portobello Market. A short walk away is Hyde Park where you can stroll Kensington Gardens and Palace and explore the shops of Kensington High Street. A basic hotel offering minimum standards. The location is good but client satisfaction is hit and miss depending on which bedroom you are allocated. Dont expect much from this hotel and you will be OK. There are better hotels to be booked for a few pounds more i.e the Blakemore.

The Bridge Hotel is a budget bed and breakfast establishment located in London postcode SE1 which is Southbank on the south side of the River Thames close to Elephant & Castle. The hotel is only 7 minutes walk from the Eurostar at Waterloo Station and is also close to London South Bank University. All the bedrooms are equipped with a colour TV, refrigerator and tea & coffee making facilities. Below the hotel is their own Chinese restaurant, however the area has many bars and restaurants to suit all types of required cuisine. Gabriels Wharf with its trendy eateries is walking distance.
