Comment about hotels in Chelsea London
The area of Chelsea is generally considered to be the current London postal districts of London SW3, London SW5 and London SW10.
Being part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, this area is most famous for its upmarket houses, restaurants and bars of the Kings Road. Located in the south-western part of central London, the southern boundary runs along the River Thames and the northern boundary borders South Kensington.
QUESTION: Why should I choose a Chelsea hotel?
Chelsea is not usually high on the list of areas that suit tourists requirements who wish to stay in central London to visit the main attractions. It does however offer a huge source of restaurants and bars and also some of London's best independent shops around the Kings Road area and of course it borders Knightsbridge. If you are coming to visit Earls Court Exhibition Centre and are looking for a more upmarket area then yes its a good idea to use a Chelsea Hotel. If you want easy access to Wimbledon via the underground then a Chelsea Hotel is also convenient. The most famous Chelsea hotel is the Conrad London which is situated directly on Chelsea Harbour with magnificent views along the River Thames. For Chelsea football fans there is the Hotel at Chelsea which was called the Chelsea Village Hotel. If this area is not for you then look at Kensington to the north of Chelsea for alternative London hotels.
