Waterloo Station and the Eurostar Terminal are located on the Southbank of the River Thames almost opposite Westminster and can be accessed from the north banks by either the Westminster Bridge or Waterloo Bridge. It is a 5 minute walk from the London Eye. Although not an accepted place for tourists to stay whilst visiting London, there are many interesting attractions within walking distance of Waterloo Station including the London Eye, The Royal Festival Hall, the Houses of Parliament, The Royal National Theatre, Gabriels Wharf and the Oxo Tower. Waterloo Station underground offers the Bakerloo, Northern, Jubilee and Waterloo
Lines and is in Zone 1. This is an up and coming area as house prices on the northern side of the river continually increase and people move south of the river. There are restaurants and bars along the river side and in the evenings, it is worthwhile visiting Gabriels Wharf which is becoming an "in place" to dine and chill out.

The Crowne Plaza St James is a top 4 star hotel located very close to Buckingham Palace and the West End. Waterloo is an easy one mile and half mile (2km) trip away.
