Liverpool Street Station is located at the north eastern end of the London EC2 area, with sections on Bishopsgate EC2, Liverpool Street EC2 and Sun Street EC2. The west section of Liverpool Street Station leads into Broadgate Circle, home to a number of shops, bars and the Broadgate Ice Rink. Liverpool Street Station, which was redeveloped in the late 1980's retaining many original features, including a World War Two memorial, is home to a hairdressers, fast food outlets and shops including Boot's, WH Smith and Marks & Spencer. The Broadgate Circle complex linked to Liverpool Street Station is home to stores including Books ETC, Reiss and the Nevada Bob's specialist golf store. Les Coulisses French restaurant and bar is also located here, at 33 Broadgate Circle EC2, providing fine food and wine in a stylish yet informal environment. Liverpool Street Bus Station, which provides services to destinations including Victoria (route number 8), Paddington (23) and Waterloo (100), is located at street level at the southern end of Liverpool Street Station.
Liverpool Street Station stands next to a number of historic buildings and attractions within the City of London such as Tower 42, formerly the NatWest Tower, located 300m south at 25 Old Broad Street. The Guildhall, the Corporation of London's grand home, stands 600m south-west of Liverpool Street Station on Gresham Street EC2. The Guildhall Art Gallery, Guildhall Clock Museum, Guildhall Library and the St Lawrence Jewry church are also located here, with entrances on Guildhall Yard EC2. There are a number of bars around Liverpool Street Station including Dirty Dicks at 202 Bishopsgate and Pitcher and Piano at 200 Bishopsgate EC2.
Liverpool Street Station is located 800m east of the Museum of London, which is situated on London Wall EC2. The Museum of London provides visitors with an insight into the history of the City of London, through exhibitions and interactive displays. The Barbican, Europe's largest multi arts centre, is positioned 700m north-west of Liverpool Street Station on Silk Street EC2. The Barbican hosts a wide range of cinema, music and theatre events throughout the year and is home to the Searcy's Restaurant and the Waterside Cafe. The Barbican has 4 car parks for the convenience of visitors.
