LONDON AIRPORT HOTELS


There are currently five airports serving London. Nearest of these is London City Airport which is situated just 10 miles (16km) from the West End (the shopping and political district), six miles (10km) from the City of London (the financial district) and three miles (5km) from Canary Wharf (London's newest business and financial centre).

Largest is of course London Heathrow Airport located to the west of London.

Gatwick Airport lies to the south near Crawley and Stansted to the north-east. Luton is north of London. All London airports offer transit services into central london.

HEATHROW AIRPORT HOTELS


London Heathrow Airport ( LHR ) is one of 4 airports servicing London and is the largest of them. It covers an area of 12 square Kilometers and caters for in excess of 64 million passengers a year. There are currently 4 terminals with a 5th underway. An average day will see 1300 flights from 96 airlines flying to 190 destinations in 90 countries. There are in excess of 20 hotels serving Heathrow Airport many of which are located just north of the complex on the A4 Bath Road offering access to all terminals within a very few minutes travel by courtesy bus. Notable Heathrow hotels are the Crowne Plaza Hotel Heathrow and the Holiday Inn Hotel Heathrow.

LONDON GATWICK AIRPORT HOTELS


Gatwick is the busiest single runway airport in the world, the second largest airport in the UK and the sixth busiest international airport in the world.
Its development strategy for the future focuses on the airport's expansion as a single runway, two terminal airport, as it grows to handle around 40 million passengers a year, within the next ten years.Located approx 20 miles south of London there are excellent communication links into the center including the Gatwick Express

LONDON LUTON AIRPORT HOTELS


Regular rail services to central London take as little as 25 minutes. Other destinations include the south coast, the Midlands and northern England, operated direct by Thameslink- Luton Airport Express and Midland Mainline. A constant, free shuttle bus service operates to and from Luton Airport Parkway Station, this is a 5 minute trip from the airport terminal building.

LONDON STANSTED AIRPORT HOTELS


Stansted is on the M11 motorway between London and Cambridge at Junction 8. The M11 also connects from the M25 London Orbital Motorway at Junction 27. The airport is approximately 20 minutes north of the M25 junction. The airport is signposted on both the M25 and M11 motorways. The Stansted Express train service goes direct to the airport from London Liverpool Street station. From Monday to Friday trains run every 15 minutes between 08:00 and 16:00 and every 30 minutes at other times.
