The London Guards Hotel is situated on the edge of the Royal Park at Lancaster Gate, a quieter residential area of the city center. Lancaster Gate is just one Kilometer West of Marble Arch and South West of Edgware Road. Neighbouring areas include Maida Vale (W9), St Johns Wood (NW8), Holland Park (W8) and Notting Hill (W11). Immediately across Bayswater Road is Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, home to Kensington Palace and the Princess Diana Exhibition.

Bayswater has many shops, entertainment and restaurants and grocery stores. Just five minutes walk from Lancaster Gate is Paddington station, where the Heathrow Express Train brings passengers from Heathrow Airport. Paddington Station is also connected to the Circle and District underground lines, providing direct access around the city center and to London's suburbs such as Wimbledon, Earls Court, Wandsworth, Ealing and West Ham. Lancaster Gate Station offers London Guards guests a direct service to Notting Hill Gate, Marble Arch, Oxford Circus, Chancery Lane, Liverpool Street and Stratford. Liverpool Street station, being the central London terminal for the Stansted Airport Express train.

Within walking distance is Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Oxford Street and Edgware Road. Just one kilometer across Hyde Park brings London Guards guests to The Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College and just a bit further, the Natural History and Science Museums.

Directions from Heathrow Airport
Take the Heathrow Express train from the airport to Paddington station. Then either take a taxi to the hotel (2 minutes), or walk to the hotel (approx 5 minutes).

Directions from Gatwick Airport
Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria Station. Then change to the tube and ride Northbound to Green Park, here change to the Jubilee Line to Bond Street and then to the Central Line for Lancaster Gate.

Directions from London Luton Airport
Take the free shuttle bus from the airport to Luton Parkway train station. Here take the ThamesLink rail service to the city center. Next take the tube or taxi to the hotel at Lancaster Gate.

Directions from Stansted Airport
From Stansted Airport the most cost effective way to travel is by Stansted Airport Express Train. This takes passengers to Liverpool Street Station. From Liverpool Street take the central tube line to Lancaster Gate.
