This age old East End flower and plants street market is on every Sunday from 8am to 2pm. Of course, even if you don’t need to shop for plants, the festive air of Columbia Road on a Sunday makes it an excellent spot for sightseeing and people watching. There’s a brilliant variety of shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants and pubs as well – all keen to take advantage of the throngs of folks that head to the market every week.
A beloved local favourite and one of this city’s most distinctive destinations, Columbia Road is located in the East London borough of Tower Hamlets with the Tube stations Old Street, Liverpool Street, Bethnal Green and Whitechapel all within a short walk.
