Photos: Stumbling upon Shepherd Market

Tucked away in the heart of Mayfair – close to but wonderfully removed from the buzz of Central London – visiting Shepherd Market feels as though you’ve stumbled upon one of London’s best kept secrets (even if you go there all the time).

This tiny 18th century piazza is well know for its pubs (Ye Grapes is  definitely a local favourite), restaurants (from upscale French and Lebanese to what may be the world’s only Polish-Mexican bistro) and a selective handful of boutiques, galleries and quaint shops. A beloved celebrity haunt for ages, Shepherd Market is steps from some of London’s best hotels and well worth stumbling upon!
