Radisson Mountbatten Hotel could be the choice location in London

The sophisticated decor of the Radisson Mountbatten Hotel
Lets be honest, London is small compared to many major tourist destinations. In reality, the real centre stretches from Kensington eastwards to Holborn and from Marylebone southwards to Chelsea. In total an area of maybe 10 square miles.
You could therefore argue that where you stay it not to important however there are locations within this central area of London that can make your stay better than expected. Lets imagine that you are in “town” and want to do some sights and take in some bars and restaurants and that you have only two or three days to do it all. It would make sense to be walking distance to as much as possible to save on valuable time and tube / taxi fares.
The main good areas to eat and drink are probably around Kensington / Knightsbridge area and the eastern part of the West End around Covent Garden. Both have sufficient cosmopolitan watering holes and restaurants to keep you busy for a year.
Whilst both of these areas offer lots of attractions, Covent Garden wins hands down in terms of whats walking distance. Apart from Covent Garden itself, you are strolling distance from landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the Royal Opera House, West End theatres, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, National Gallery, Charing Cross Road, Soho clubs, the gay district, Dean St, Frith St and Greek St and the iconic British Museum.
This area is expensive to stay in as there are only a handful of hotels available and they tend to book up quite easily. A good choice is the Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten. The location is to die for whilst its facilities are pretty good too. Located in beautiful Covent Garden in London’s West End near Drury Lane, you are just steps away from the best London has to offer. The Radisson Edwardian Mountbatten is located in fashionable Seven Dials, known as the Hidden Village in London’s West End Covent Garden. The quaint architecture of Seven Dials is truly a sight to behold. From Seven Dials your just minutes from popular attractions like Piccadilly, Leicester Square, the London Eye, Oxford Street and the River Thames.
Prices at the Mountbatten are actually, given the prime area, not too bad and some nights can be a bargain so its worth checking out.
