"I had previously used the Royal National but after trying the St Giles Hotel, I highly recommend this hotel if you want to be able to walk to most key attractions and theatres in the West End. The prices were excellent!"Located at the junction of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road in the heart of London's West End, the St Giles Hotel is within easy walking distance of the main shopping areas, attractions and theatres.
The St Giles is conveniently located at Bedford Avenue in the West Central district of London's West End area. Oxford Street with its world famous shops, restaurants and entertainment venues is close by. China Town, Soho, Covent Garden, Theatreland, Leicester Square are also in close proximity. From the St Giles Hotel you can access many of London's attractions, restaurants and shops on foot. The world famous British Museum is located in this area itself. Widely renowned as Europe's largest independent hotel, the St Giles Hotel London is extremely well connected as well. The Tottenham Court Tube station is only a minute's walk from here.
Standard rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with shower/toilet, direct dialing telephone, tea/coffee facilities, colour TV with remote control, computerized key card system and in-room safe. There are Mini suites suitable for two adults and a child, that are equipped with en-suite bathrooms and facilities such as alarm clock, direct dialing telephone with voicemail, colour TV with remote control, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, computerized key card system and in-room safe.
Check out the spacious, well-equipped St Giles Hotel Leisure Club with its 25-metre swimming pool, sauna and 40-metre Sports Hall. (Children under 16 are allowed to use the pool only when accompanied by a parent or guardian). Guests have use of the extensive Leisure Centre located under the hotel including a 25 metre indoor Fitness Swimming Pool, Sauna and over 50 exercise machines.
There is a 24-hour Car Park located beneath the hotel. This parking area is owned & managed by NCP Ltd. The approximate charges are £25 for 24 hours.

Use of these facilities is subject to satisfactory completion of a health questionnaire at the discretion of the YMCA Club Management.

Children under 16 are not permitted to use gym equipment or take part in fitness classes. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Leisure facilities are closed on all Public Holidays and may be closed at other times at the discretion of the Club Management. The swimming pool is also closed each year during Easter for approximately two weeks to carry out yearly maintenance. Please contact the Central YMCA directly for further details.
