About the Zetter

Located in hip and happening Clerkenwell (just a hop and a skip from the City and steps from some of London's best restaurants, pubs and nightspots), The Zetter, which opened in 2004, is the creation of restaurateurs Michael Benyan and Mark Sainsbury, who either together or individually have played a role working with a number of London's most notable restaurants and hotels, including the Quality Chop House, the Westbourne, Kensington Place, Roux Brothers, the Union Cafe and Moro.

With two restauranteurs behind its inception, The Zetter features a phenomenal restaurant and bar, offering seasonal, modern Mediterranean food made with the highest quality ingredients. The Zetter Restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, all day bar snacks and weekend brunches, as well as private parties and weddings. Of course, situated in Clerkenwell, should you require stepping out for a bite or a tipple you won't have far to go. The Zetter is within easy walking distance to several of London's best eating and drinking establishments, including St John, Moro, and the Jerusalem Tavern to name but a few!

A spiral staircase wraps itself around The Zetter's dramatic five-storey atrium accessing each of its 59 bedrooms. Originally a warehouse, many of the building's original 19th century features have been incorporated into the hotel's cutting edge designs to create a subdued yet elegant impression with wallpaper panels, giant sash windows, modern furniture and a variety of well-placed artworks and ceramics, The Zetter instils guests and visitors with a sense of contemporary refinement.

Rooms at The Zetter are each individually designed with a focus on quality at affordable prices. Expect duck-down pillows, free WiFi and super fast broadband (as well as broadband via interactive television), movies on demand, and a library of 4000 free digital music tracks. All bathrooms come equipped with large "Raindance" showerheads and natural bath products from Elemis. There is air conditioning throughout the building, including every room.

Located in St John's Square at 86-88 Clerkenwell Road, The Zetter is a ten minute taxi ride from the West End and an easy walk to St Paul's and the City. The nearest Tube Station is Farringdon Station and a number of buses stop just outside the hotel. Onsite parking is limited. A public NCP lot is within five minute's walk.
