Comment about Tourist hotels in London
London tourist class hotels are plentiful. They tend to be in three main areas 1. South of Hyde Park in Kensington 2. North of Hyde Park in Bayswater and 3. in the West End / Theatreland. Of these three areas, the West End is generally the most expensive, followed by Kensington and then Bayswater. All three areas allow easy access to London attractions and shops. Our personal preference is South Kensington with its many hundreds of shops and restaurants and of course the museums and neighboring Harrods.
QUESTION: How do we define a Tourist Hotel in London?
As a general guide, we have classified a tourist hotel as 3 or maybe 4 star, remember there is no official and compulsory star rating in London so standards and quality can vary enormously especially within this 3 / 4 star category.

The Caesar Hotel is very modern, contemporary and stylish. Wi-Fi Broadband Internet access is now available for the use of all the hotel guests.
Comment about the Caesar Hotel London: The 100% refit resulted in a contemporary new 160 bedroom hotel. We prefer to classify this hotel as a good 3 star as there is no air conditioning in the compact bedrooms. On that basis its good value.
