Tower Hill EC3 is located in the south of the City of London and is linked to the Minories. This area has a colourful history which can be traced back to the bronze age. Tower Hill was the site of a Roman village and the nearby All Hallows by the Tower, located on Byward Street EC3, contains Roman architecture dating back to the year 680. Public executions of high profile criminals and traitors to the state often took place on Tower Hill. The most predominant feature in this area of the City is the Tower of London.

The Tower of London, located on Tower Hill, is a must see for visitors to the City of London. Highlights include the free hour long tours available at the Tower, which are guided by Yeoman Wardens, or Beefeaters. These tours allow guests to see the world famous Crown Jewels and the site of execution of two of Henry VIII's wives. Visitors can view an original chopping block and axe in the White Tower here. The Tower of London holds various exhibitions throughout the year and is open from 9am Monday to Saturday and from 10am on Sundays.

Tower Hill is the location of Trinity Square, an area home to a number of impressive Edwardian townhouses, designed by Sir Edwin Cooper. Trinity Square is also home to the beautifully landscaped Trinity Square Gardens. These award winning grounds are open daily and provide a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy views of the Tower of London and Trinity House.

Tower Hill is 200m east of the Minster Court office complex, consisting of three building positioned along Mincing Lane EC3, Mark Lane EC3 and Dunster Court EC3. Minster Court, designed in the late 1980's, is home to the London Underwriting Centre, at 3 Minster Court. Leisure outlets at Minster Court include the Balls Brothers bar and restaurant, which has an extensive wine list and Bar Med, which provides food and drinks in a lively environment. The vast Plantation Place complex, which opened in 2004, is located 250m from Tower Hill, along Fenchurch Street, Rood Lane EC3 and Mincing Lane.

Tower Hill is 400m east of the Monument, which can be reached via Great Tower Street EC3 and Eastcheap EC3. Situated on Monument Street EC3 and Fish Street Hill EC3, the Monument was designed by Sir Christopher Wren to commemorate the Great Fire of London of 1666. The viewing platform on the Monument offers fantastic views across London, of landmarks including Tower 42, the Swiss Re building, often referred to as the Gherkin and of the distinctive Lloyds Building. London Bridge is 50m from the Monument on King William Street EC3. Old Billingsgate Market and the historic Custom House are also located in this area along the Thames, on Lower Thames Street EC3.

Tower Hill has excellent transport links, close to a number of stations including Tower Hill Underground Station, Fenchurch Street mainline station (200m) and Aldgate Underground Station, 400m north along the Minories. Monument Underground Station is 400m west of Tower Hill on Gracechurch Street EC3. This station is linked to Bank Underground Station which is on the Central, Circle, District, Northern and Waterloo & City lines and the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). Visitors can view the Bank of England building and Mansion House from here, as well as visit the Royal Exchange, home to exclusive designer boutiques from the likes of Gucci and Paul Smith.
